You Finger Crossing Worked!
Thanks to everyone who kept their fingers, toes and anything else crossed for me after my post on the 19th December 2005. I've just received an official piece of paper which tells me that I have been awarded a 12.67% pay rise, effective from the 1st January 2006. WOOT!
Added to that, the company will pay for me to install and receive broadband at home, so that I needn't always come to the office to work, if I feel like working from home for some reason.
Now that's what I call a nice way to start the year.
